Rescue Minute was formed in 2010 to provide mission-critical communications for EMS, first responders and firefighters, starting in Boulder County. Rescue Minute uses cloud-based computing to deliver critical messages and updates to subscribers using a variety of delivery methods, including SMS, e-mail, Prowl and IM notifications.

Rescue Minute was founded by David Kabal, who has been a firefighter in Boulder County since 2000, and an ambulance technician (911 service) serving Boulder County and City of Boulder since 2010.
